One Week in Japan: Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka Adventure
Japan is a country that seamlessly blends ultra-modern technology with deeply rooted ancient traditions. One week allows you to experience Tokyo's electric energy, Kyoto's serene temples, and Osaka's legendary food culture.
Spend the first three days in Tokyo exploring neighborhoods like Shibuya — home to the world's busiest pedestrian crossing — Harajuku for street fashion, Asakusa for the Senso-ji temple, and Akihabara for electronics and anime culture.
Take the Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto for two days of temple-hopping: the golden Kinkaku-ji, the thousands of vermilion torii gates at Fushimi Inari, and the bamboo groves of Arashiyama are unmissable. A day trip to Nara to feed the friendly wild deer is highly recommended.
Osaka rounds out your week with its famous street food scene in Dotonbori — try takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and kushikatsu. The Osaka Castle park and the Shinsekai retro district offer a perfect mix of history and local life before you head home.
